Mentoring Service Launch
Service Basics
Our mentoring service has now been launched to provide much needed support to recently released ex-offenders.
We are committed to our people.
Key Players
We are committed to the people we work with and believe that those who have been through real experiences are well placed to support others through the difficulties faced by other individuals.
Our service is staffed by experienced volunteers, some of whom have developed through our own services.
Further details will be posted on our Mentoring Service Page.
Our experience of developing services has allowed us to bring this to life quickly, effectively with due consideration for Quality.
Please contact us if you believe you might benefit from mentoring support or perhaps have some experience to share in a supporting capacity.
Support for Mentoring
Grant awarded to support our Mentors
Our Mentors
Our work with ex-offenders has helped a number of individuals develop to the point where they are now providing ongoing support to others as mentors.
We have applied for and been awarded a grant to support this effort, from a local charitable trust.
This recognises the valuable work we do in developing the people we work with.
Funding
Partnership meeting took place - there is plenty of scope that just needs to be explored.
In the meantime, we are exploring wider funding opportunities as well as developing ideas for new Customers.
This has kept the whole team busy.
More details will be posted over the next few days.
In the meantime - take a look at our Latest Marketing Brochure.
Partnership Discussions
Over the last couple of weeks, we have had informal discussions with a few potential partners, some small, some big.
We are meeting with people where possible.
One such meeting will be taking place in HMP Birmingham - 30 May 2012.
Updates will be posted here shortly.
If your organisation is interested in partnership working, then please contact us.
NOMS Consortia
NOMS are rolling out a series of workshops to help social enterprises to form Consortia with a view to bidding for funding and contracts at some stage down the line. There is some funding available to support the consortia formation process. Timing is tight for the next stage of process - form a suitable consortium over the next month or so.
About 30 organisations were represented at the event including some big organisations that are already leading consortia.
There is definitely a case to pursue a consortium / partnership opportunity.
